Join Our Call Manager Team: Be the Voice of Support and Connection!

Are you a skilled communicator with a knack for organization and a passion for making a positive difference in our community? If so, we're looking for individuals like you to join our dedicated team of Call Managers at Conejo Valley Village!

As a 100% volunteer-driven organization with no paid employees or physical office space, our Call Managers play a vital role in connecting our members with the support and services they need. Working from the comfort of your own home, you'll dedicate four hours each week—either from 8am to noon or 1 to 5pm—to serve as the front-line communication liaison between our members and our exceptional pool of volunteers.

Here's what you'll do as a Call Manager:

  • Answer incoming calls to the Village phone line (forwarded to your home or cell number) with warmth and professionalism.

  • Create and manage service requests for our members, ensuring prompt and efficient coordination with our volunteer network.

  • Assist members with registering for Zoom gatherings and in-person events, providing clear explanations of our activities and answering any questions they may have.

  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource for general inquiries about Conejo Valley Village, helping to foster a sense of community and belonging.

Join us in creating meaningful connections and providing invaluable support to our members and volunteers. Your commitment and compassion will make a lasting impact on the lives of others, enriching both your own life and the lives of those you serve.

Ready to lend your voice to our cause? Contact us today to learn more about becoming a Call Manager or to express your interest in joining our team.

Together, we'll continue to build a stronger, more vibrant community for all.

Providing Compassionate Support During Times of Transition

Our Care Team is dedicated to facilitating expedited services to meet the evolving needs of our members during times of transition. Whether facing health concerns, loss of family support, or the challenges of aging, our volunteers are here to offer peace of mind.

When a member is placed into our Care Team, they are entitled to expedited services such as rides for medical-related appointments. This ensures that members can access essential healthcare services without delay. While our volunteers do not provide hands-on home care or caregiver-type tasks, they play a crucial role in facilitating vital transportation support, helping our members navigate through challenging times with dignity and respect.

The Outreach Team has a dual mission. Firstly, we aim to expand our membership and volunteer network by introducing civic groups and other organizations to the benefits of joining CVV. Secondly, we strive to foster strong community connections by highlighting the work of CVV and its impact within the cities we serve. Both members and volunteers are encouraged to join the team and contribute to our outreach efforts.

The CVV Statistics Team is tasked with gathering monthly data on different facets of our Village organization, such as members, volunteers, member services, and social events. This data is utilized to create statistics and graphs aimed at offering insights into CVV operations. The CVV Board of Directors utilizes these insights to enhance policies or procedures. Quarterly formal reports are generated to illustrate how current operational statistics compare with previous months or years.
